Tasmania 120 Anthracite Hammertone – Extra-Large Parakeet Cage
Room for a group of parakeets
Parakeets need space to move freely, land on separate perches and feed without competition. In a household with several birds, a standard cage quickly becomes too confined. The Savic Tasmania 120 is designed specifically for multi-bird setups. At approx. 118 x 63.5 x 96.5 cm inside, the enclosure gives parakeets genuine room. Eight wooden perches at 66 x Ø 1.9 cm and four stainless steel feeding bowls are included, so every bird has its own position without crowding. A large bird cage for parakeets that works the way a multi-bird home actually needs it to.
One cage, two configurations
The removable separation grid is one of the Savic Tasmania 120's most practical features. It divides the cage into two independent units for introducing a new bird, separating a pair, or managing birds with different needs. When the full space is preferred, it lifts out in one move. Most large bird cages for multiple parakeets are fixed in layout. The Savic Tasmania 120 adapts without disassembly.
Designed for daily access and hygiene
Two large front doors (27.5 x 43 cm each) open wide for full access and come with a stainless steel locking system. Smaller doors on the front (12 x 10 cm) and sides (13 x 10.5 cm) allow bird bath installation without disturbing the rest of the cage. Transparent plastic panels on all four sides contain seed debris and feathers inside the enclosure, keeping the surrounding floor clean. Removable metal trays slide out and bottom metal grids keep birds safely inside during cleaning. An easy-clean parakeet cage that keeps daily maintenance quick.
Built for long-term use
The Savic Tasmania 120 has an anthracite hammertone wire finish, an extra-solid coating that resists daily wear and keeps its appearance over time. Wire spacing of 11 mm is suited to parakeets. Castors with 360° rotation allow the cage to be moved and repositioned freely indoors or outdoors. An optional wooden kit (A951137, sold separately) converts the Tasmania 120 into an extra-large cage for small animals, making it a versatile long-term investment.
