For the Savic design team, Moona started with a clear ambition: create a litter box that works well for cats and their owners, while also fitting naturally into a modern home.
“We were looking for a cat toilet that stood out through beauty and simplicity. Something that fits a modern interior, is functional, and does not consist of too many components.”
With Moona, function and interior design can work together.
The subtle ribbed structure gives the litter box texture and a warm appearance. Soft, rounded lines make the shape feel less technical, while the mocha and warm grey colours are easy to combine with different interior styles.
Every element supports the same idea: keep it simple, practical and visually calm.
The result is a litter box that does not need to be hidden. It simply belongs.
Design without forgetting the cat
A beautiful litter box is still, first of all, a litter box. Good design therefore starts with the cat using it.
At 57 × 39 × 39 cm, Moona gives cats space to move and turn comfortably.
The door opening measures 19 × 22 cm, while the entry step is 13.5 cm high, making it easy for cats to enter and leave.
The hooded design creates a sheltered space and gives cats privacy while using the litter box.
At the same time, it helps keep litter inside the box and limits the spread of odours around the home.
Because a product only works when it works for everyone sharing the space.
Easy to live with every day
There is another side to litter box design that becomes important very quickly: cleaning. A litter box is used several times a day, so keeping it clean needs to be simple.
Moona has a practical two-part construction. The top and bottom can be separated easily, giving you good access when it is time for a thorough clean.No complicated construction. No unnecessary parts. Just a straightforward design made for everyday use.

Tested in real life
A product can be carefully designed and look good in a home. But there is still one important test: will cats actually use it? That is why Moona was tested in real-life situations too.
Luxe-Kattenhotel introduced Moona to the cats staying at their professional cat hotel.
